Let’s go traveling through the mail!

My latest adventure takes audiences traveling through the mail, just like its titular hero Stanley Lambchop, whom you may know better as Flat Stanley.

That’s right. The beloved children’s book turned international snail mail project has made its way to the stage in the theatre for young audiences production of The Musical Adventures of Flat Stanley at Orlando Shakespeare Theater and I’m understudying!

I filled in for two shows on October 30th, and there are more chances to catch me in performance on Sunday, November 9th at 2pm or Thursday, November 20th at 10:15am or noon.

The main character in the track I cover is Mrs. Cartero, who delivers the mail to the Lambchop house, but you’ll have to come see the musical to find out exactly where I’ll show up during Stanley’s adventures in Los Angeles, Paris, and Honolulu!

You can still get tickets for November 9th online here, but if you’d like to see a show on the 20th, you’ll have to call the Orlando Shakes box office at (407) 447-1700.

If you’d like to take your own Flat Stanley on an adventure, you can click on his picture below for the full print-out version from Orlando Shakes. Don’t forget to share the photo with me (Shannon Lynch) or Orlando Shakes on Facebook!

Oh and P.S. There is an entire song about wishing to be a wizard like Harry Potter or a Jedi like Luke Skywalker. Seriously. I will not be offended if you come just to witness that.
